Consumables for the PME intensive online fondant module 

 

 

Edible consumables

 

-PME fondant or similar 3-5 kg( quantity will depend on how thick you roll the fondant and also what size cakes will be used)

-gum paste( flower paste) 1 kg

-edible colours( gels, pastes)

-vegetable fat( Crisco, Trex, etc) 200 g

-candy melts ( optional

-modelling paste (Saracino) 400-500 g

-CMC

 

Extra tools and equipment needed

 

-cake boards ( for all 3 projects: tiered cake, sculpted cake, budget cake)

- three-round cakes, preferably size 4",6",8" all of the same depth 3-4" (real cakes or dummies) 

- one square 6" cake 3" deep ( real or dummy cake)

-slab of real cake 9"/12" for carving, 1 kg buttercream

-cookies, cupcakes, and cake pops

-edible markers ( optional)

-brushes for painting 

-toothpicks

-icing sugar for rolling sugar paste

-rolling pin

-cling film

-single-use gloves ( for colouring)
