During this one day in-class course, students ( a maximum number of 3) will learn how to prepare a regular and shaped cake and mono portion desserts for glazing (see the photo attached).
The course will start at 9.30 am with a demonstration of how to build the structure of the cake/ desserts to make them ready for glazing,
Your instructor Ribana will explain how to prepare 2 types of glazes, will give tips to obtain great effects, best shine, fewer air bubbles and beautiful colours.
She will show how to mould then unmould and apply the glaze correctly on the cakes and how to transfer on the board and finish the cakes and desserts decorated, also how to store and transport them.
Students will have to replicate the methods demonstrated, make one type of glaze, built 4 mono portion desserts ( different shapes) then glaze them and a ready-made cake prepared in advance (brought to the right temperature). Ribana will guide and help throughout the entire process,
At the end of the class, students will take home all their creations ( 4 mono portion desserts and a cake plus the remaining glaze prepared in the class).
Ribana's demonstrations performed during the day will be video and audio recorded and links will be sent along with the recipes used in the class.
Students will have unlimited access to re-watch them if and when necessary,
This is an ALL-INCLUSIVE class, which means all you need for the course( equipment, consumables and packaging) will be provided.
Refreshments ( coffee, water, tea, fruits, biscuits) will be available for free throughout the class.
