During this half-day in-class course, students ( a maximum number of 3) will learn how to cover and decorate a real cake with buttercream as per the photo attached.
The course will start at 9.30 am with a demonstration of how to make and colour the buttercream needed for covering and decorating the cake ( you can choose your preferred colours)
Your instructor Ribana will explain how to get a smooth finishing effortless and how to achieve the striped effect using 3 easy methods.
She will show how to prepare and apply the drips correctly on the cake and how to pipe the buttercream roses and shells to complete the cake.
Students will work on a 6" wide 7" tall vanilla cake supplied by us freshly baked and filled, ready to be decorated.
Students will have to replicate the methods demonstrated and decorate their cakes being guided and helped throughout the entire process by Ribana.
At the end of the class, students will take home all their creations.
Ribana's demonstrations performed during the day will be video and audio recorded and links will be sent along with the recipes used in the class.
Students will have unlimited access to re-watch them if and when necessary,
This is an ALL-INCLUSIVE class, which means all you need for the course( equipment, consumables and packaging) will be provided.
Refreshments ( coffee, water, tea, fruits, biscuits) will be available for free throughout the class.
