 Option 1 course is a 1-day class (9 am-5 pm) perfect for those wanting to learn trendy techniques in painting with buttercream and ganache, also want to improve the skills of making sugar flowers and foliage out of gum paste, cold porcelain, and wafer paper.

The benefit of covering the cake with this method is that the buttercream or ganache will not come off on your hands while painting or touching. 

 We will start by making the sugar flowers, will continue preparing the colored buttercream/ ganache, which will be used for covering and painting.
 The class does not include baking, we will work on a freshly made 6" wide 7" tall vanilla sponge cake baked in our bakery, filled and prepared for covering.
 The course starts at 9 am and finish at 6 pm we will stop for a 30 min lunch break @ midday.
     Option 2 only covers the preparation of creams, cake covering and painting of the cake. It starts at 2 pm and finishes at 5 pm. No sugar flowers or foliage will be made or used on this option.
      FAQ
 1. Is this class suitable for beginners?
 Some basic experience in covering a cake will be an advantage. Chef Ribana will guide you throughout the class sharing her knowledge, tips, and tricks to help you get a good result in covering, painting ensuring you’ll learn how to decorate the cake as presented in the video/photo. Her promise is that at the end of this course you’ll be confident in recreating the design of the cake.
 2. How many people will be in the class?
 There is a maximum of 4 people per class.
 3. What will be provided?

 - Refreshments
 -  packaging to take home your creation
4. Do I need to supply anything for the class?
 No, all equipment needed, consumables & packaging will be provided.
 DRESSING CODE
 Please wear closed-toe shoes. We will recommend you wear a chef jacket but if you don’t have one a light-colored top will be also acceptable.
 Refreshments (tea, coffee, water, biscuits) will be available through the day for free. Lunch is not included so you'll need to make your own arrangements. Few take away shops are position 5 min walking distance.
 Free parking available on the back of the school.
