Course description
During this course, students will learn how to cook, colour and work with the Isomalt and make rock sugar, edible moss, and decorations as per the photos attached.
The course will start at 9 am with safety training and a HOW TO demonstration.
Your instructor Ribana will explain all you need to know about working safely and successfully with hot Isomalt. She will explain how to store and protect your decorations and apply them to your cakes.
Students must replicate the methods demonstrated, create their decorations, dolphins, clear baubles, moss, rock sugar, background, and wave, and then ensemble the sugar display.
All ingredients, consumables, equipment, tools and packaging needed for the course will be provided.
Refreshments the day ( tea, coffee, and biscuits will be complimentary throughout the day).
Lunch break starts at 12.30 for 30 min. Food is not provided, and students will have to make their arrangements.
Students will take home their creations and receive an e-booklet containing the templates and recipes of products made and used during the class.
The class will be video and audio recorded, and a link for three months of private access will be sent to the students for their use.
Access to the classroom will only be permitted 15 minutes before the starting time of the class.
