 During this half-day in-class course, students  will learn how to cover and decorate a real cake with buttercream, per the photo attached.

 The course will start  with a demonstration of how to make and colour the buttercream needed for covering and decorating the cake ( you can choose your preferred colours, including dark vibrant colours if you like )

Your instructor will explain how to get a smooth, effortless finish and make the chocolate sail and flowers.

She will show how to prepare and correctly apply the drips on the cake and decorate it to complete it.

Students will work on a 5" wide, 4" tall real cake we will supply, freshly baked and filled with pastry vanilla cream and chocolate ganache, ready to be decorated. 

Students will have to replicate the methods demonstrated and decorate their cakes, being guided and helped throughout the entire process by the instructor.

At the end of the class, students will take home their creations. Cakes will be suitable for home freezing for up to 2 months as long as are put to freeze within 5 hours after completing the decorating. Cake must be transferred from the freezer to the fridge to defrost for 12 hours before serving.

This is an ALL-INCLUSIVE class, which means all you need for the course( equipment, consumables and packaging) will be provided.

Refreshments ( coffee, water, tea, fruits, and biscuits) will be complimentary throughout the class.
