  During this ALL-INCLUSIVE course, students will use dummy cakes to learn and practice all the basic techniques of sugar paste.

They will cover a three-tiered dummy cake and one-edged cake, shape and cover a real novelty cake, model 3 figures, a baby, a male and a female, make sugar bows, and fantasy sugar flowers. Decorate the cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and cookies using fondant and gum paste( see examples in the photos attached).

We offer this as an alternative option for those looking to work only on real cakes. 

Students will also learn :

Crimping and embossing, Airbrushing( basics), sugar painting, Candy melt moulding effects, Fabric Effects, Textured Drapes, Frills, Ribbons, Bows, & sugar Embroidery, Modelling Pet Figures, Textures, Inlay and applique, Stacked Cake Design and handling Designing Celebration Cakes & Color Balance.

The business side will cover guidelines for starting a business from home, copyright and license issues, cake pricing, advertising, and insurance.

By the end of this course, you'll learn to cover, stack and decorate a three-tiered dummy cake, a square/ rectangular dummy cake, make a baby figure and a couple of adult-like figurines, decorate six cupcakes, two cookies, carve and decorate a real cake ( see examples of projects done during the course on the photos attached).

The price covers the tuition fees( 25 hours in class tuition), the newest student kit, student book, templates and instructions to use during the course, styrofoam and real cakes, cupcakes, cookies, consumables, packaging, and everything else you need for the course. Upon completing the module, you'll be getting a PME sugar paste certificate and the Academy of Cake Decorating Diploma Certificate.

 The course starts daily at  9 am and finishes at 6 pm.

 Three intensive fondant courses will offer you an unequalled amount of information through quality tuition, supplies and consumables at a competitive cost. Projects made during the course will be based on the most trendy cake designs.
A maximum number of  4 students per course. 

At the end of the course, you'll take home your student kit, book, printed templates and instructions, all final projects, boards, and decorations you will make during the course, and most importantly, the KNOWLEDGE & CONFIDENCE, along with lots of tips and tricks for you to use in further successful projects.

Light refreshments: tea, coffee, water, biscuits, crisps, fruits) will be available for free throughout the course. We break for a 30-minute lunch break from 12.30-1 pm. Lunch is not provided, so you need to make your arrangements.
