Course description

During this half-day course, students will learn how to make sugar floral sprays like the ones in the photos ( 3 roses plus foliage and 3 peonies plus foliage).

The course will start each morning at 9.00 am, demonstrating how to make the sugar flowers and foliage needed for creating the floral display.

Your instructor Ribana will explain how to make your floral paste and colour and condition it and will explain how to store it safely. What cutters and consumables to use to get the best results

She'll show students how to make the 3 stages of a sugar flower: bud, small and wide-open flowers, plus the required foliage.

Students will replicate all floral elements, being guided and helped throughout the process. The petals and leaves they will make will be taken home and left to dry so that students can practise more on the assembling part.

The class will continue creating the sugar flower sprays, using ready-made and dry petals and leaves. Floral arrangements will be taken home at the end of the course.

Sugar flowers and foliage will be dusted to enhance the natural look and then secured with floral tape, plus other decorative elements created in class.

Students will take home all their creations at the end of the class.

This is an ALL-INCLUSIVE class, which means all you need for the course( equipment, consumables and packaging) will be provided.

Refreshments ( coffee, water, tea, fruits, biscuits) will be free throughout the day; lunch will not be provided.

Please read our terms and conditions for more details about the booking system.

Access to the classroom will only be permitted 10 minutes prior to the starting time of the class.
